This pic by Steve McCurry - a photo I did'nt know and that was sent to me last night from my friend Marco Stancati with the caption "The baroque is in the fruit on the table" - is Italy as seen worldwide, with its distinctive features but no stereotype.

It would be perfect to be used as a promotional pic for the Italian kick-start, as Mirò has been for Spain.
